Creating Change Launch Party
In GISIG’s first ever Facebook Live event, Rose Aylett launched our latest publication ‘Creating Change – Global Issues in ELT in Africa’, a fantastic compilation of 22 articles on global issues, written by authors from 17 different African nations. Edited by GISIG’s Linda Ruas, the publication can be downloaded for free here. The launch featured a short trailer with footage from some of the authors’ own teaching contexts in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as video clips where three of the contributing teachers (Patricia, Derreck and Rukia) explain why teaching their students about global issues is so important to them.
